An elevated employee experience

Giving Back, Together

Giving back to the community is engrained in MGIC’s culture. Our Giving Back, Together program offers employees 4 paid volunteer hours, company-organized volunteer opportunities, and an employee-driven community grant program.

Giving Back, Together reflects our desire to positively impact the community outside our walls through volunteerism, financial giving and MGIC representation.

  • Giving time

    When co-workers give their time and engage in community action that matters to them and that also supports the work we do at MGIC (in the communities in which we do business), we're truly realizing the mission of Giving Back, Together.

    Whether it’s a company-sponsored volunteer opportunity, a group volunteer event organized at the department/team level, or volunteering individually for an organization you’re passionate about, MGIC supports our co-workers getting involved and giving back to our community.

  • Giving treasure

    Giving "treasure" – by donating dollars and goods – is one of the ways we're able to positively impact the community.

    By supporting numerous philanthropic initiatives, we seek to foster vibrant and sustainable communities.

    We provide financial support to local organizations through a combination of workplace giving campaigns, matching gifts, and corporate contributions and sponsorships.

  • Giving talent

    In addition to volunteering or providing monetary support to nonprofit organizations, we also encourage our co-workers to give their talent and to consider serving as mentors, advisors, committee members, or board members outside of MGIC.

    MGIC’s co-workers are especially active through their work with community organizations that promote access to housing and financial literacy.
