Manage loan files already submitted

Regardless of how you deliver a loan to MGIC, you can follow its progress at the Loan Center.

Check loan status Check Submission Status, Insurance Status and Contract Status to determine where your loan is in the decision process.
Cancel approval Cancel a Commitment/Certificate on a loan that has been approved for MGIC mortgage insurance, but whose coverage has not been activated.
Activate coverage on ZOMP monthly MI

Activate coverage on a loan that has been approved for MGIC mortgage insurance under our ZOMP Monthly MI plan.

To activate coverage on loans approved for coverage under MGIC's monthly, single or split premium plans, submit the premium due. More about activating mortgage insurance coverage.

View loan documents

View and print MGIC-created loan documents, including:

  • Commitment/Certificate
  • Suspense letter
  • Denial letter
  • FCRA Borrower Notification letter
  • Notice of Loan Approval
Make changes to the Commitment/Certificate

Request changes to loan information after the loan has been approved; for example, an interest rate change.

If changes affect the original underwriting decision, the loan may go into suspense.

Resubmit a loan originally submitted as a data file

Edit and resubmit loan data after submitting a loan for underwriting.

If changes do not affect an approval decision, the Loan Center will create a new, updated Commitment/Certificate. If changes affect the original underwriting decision, the loan may go into suspense.

Submit additional documentation

Upload documentation that was updated, previously missing or requested by MGIC.
